Boudoir Service Agreement

A. Session Fees

A non-refundable $500 session fee retainer (minus any applicable discounts) is due upon booking. The session retainer secures the session date and time on the studio and hair and makeup artist's calendars and includes professional hair and makeup, a 90-minute photography session, use of full studio and furniture available (full-length custom mirror, bed, couch, and chairs), guided posing, and professional retouching. Digital and print products are available for separate purchase.

I understand that digital and print products are purchased separately and are not included in the Session Fee.

B. Rescheduling

If a serious illness or emergency prevents a photo session from taking place, client may reschedule their session to the next available date without penalty. Should client fail to give 24 hours notice, reschedule more than once, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, the session fee will be forfeited and the retainer will not be refunded.  Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.

Cancellation Policy: Client understands that the studio may only book one client per day and as such, spaces are limited. The photographers and hair and makeup artist reserve the day in their calendar and do not book anything else during the session time frame in order to ensure that Client has the best experience. A cancellation results in a loss of guaranteed and potential income for both artists. Client may reschedule a total of (1) time with a $150 transfer of date fee - a second reschedule will be considered a cancellation of services and client will pay a new session fee.

Cancellation Policies are as follows:

Before 30 Days: no additional cancellation fee
30 Days: $100 cancellation fee
15 Days: $250 cancellation fee
72 Hours OR No-call/No-show: $500 cancellation fee

C. Re-shoots / Refunds

Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer. Re-shoots and refunds will not be given for choice of clothing regret, make-up and/or hair regret, weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. All products are unique and one of a kind, and as such they are non-refundable. Photographer cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to the product in transit after it has been delivered to client, or any damage that happens once it is in the client’s possession.

D. Archive

After six (6) months, all images will be purged from photographer’s hard-drive, except as needed for promotional purposes, to be determined by photographer at photographer’s sole discretion. Photographer is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond photographer’s control.

E. Payment

The $500 non-refundable session fee is due upon booking. Payments for pre-purchased print collections are due in full 15 days before photography session and can be made in split equal payments or paid in one lump sum. Client will have the option to add additional digital and print products at the ordering appointment; discounts offered at signing will not be available at the photo reveal and ordering appointment. No digital or physical products will be delivered to client until all invoices are paid in full.

Due to the custom nature of the session and physical products, all sales are final.

G. Liability

Photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties during the session in studio. Client(s) will be responsible for themselves and releases the photographer from any claims against their person or their business.

H. Copyright & Penalty

Sara Ozim Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during client’s session.

I. Shooting Time/ Overtime Rates/ Additions

Client is responsible for added expenses due to conditions imposed by CLIENT but not revealed at contract inception such as the request of extensive photographic retouching, other digital enhancements, or event overtime.

J. Post Processing

The client agrees and understands that the work delivered will be of a similar style and caliber to those photographs on the website and blog, and that the photographer will have complete creative control during the photographs and in post-processing. The images will be delivered in high resolution JPEG (digital) format with a mix of color and black and white images, and deemed appropriate by the photographer. Post processing includes blemish retouching, gentle retouching, exposure tweaks, white balance, tones, cropping, and rotation. Advanced post processing requested after delivery of photographs may be requested by the client for an additional charge per image. The client agrees that the photographer can only capture the day as it happens; weather, location, schedule complications, time restraints and subject’s ability to cooperate, are all factors in the quality of the photographs. The photographer encourages women to love themselves and will not edit for physical size, hair or makeup changes, nor any other physical appearance issue other than blemishes and soft skin smoothing/retouching.
